Learn how to aim at small targets to train your mind to focus on the importance of accuracy. For example, on the tee box, don’t address the tee ball with the idea that you’re aiming up the right side of the fairway, but rather, pick out a clump of grass on the right side of the fairway. The smaller the target the better. Chances are you won’t hit that target but your miss will be in a much better spot. This approach can be taken on all shots. It is important to take this approach in your practice sessions to ensure that it carries out on to the golf course.
